Quadratic Equation or Parabola

The other name of quadratic equation is called Parabola.
it has second degree equation.
ax^2+bx+c=0 or y=ax^2+bx+c
where a and b are coefficients of x^2 and x and c is a constant.
the graph looks like U shaped region
we find centre of the parabola in different formulas
(-b/2a, 4ac-b^2/2a)

Other way of the formula is plug x=-b/2a in the function
we get y value of the centre.

Different directions of the parabola

the graph of the curve y^2=4ax (a>0) curve moves right side of the x-axis
the graph of the curve y^2=-4ax(a>0) corve moves left side of the x-axis
the graph of the curve x^2=4ay (a>0) curve moves up side of the y-axis
the graph of the curve x^2=-4ay(a>0) curve moves down side of the y-axis

Apart of these four curves we have 4 more parabola having different axis
other than origin we take centre as (h,k).
